SRINAGAR: Dr Touseef Bhatt, President of the Rotary Club of Kashmir, on Tuesday called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and discussed the organisation’s initiatives related to youth empowerment, environmental conservation and drug de-addiction.
During the meeting, Dr Bhatt also expressed gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor for his support towards social welfare and development initiatives in Jammu and Kashmir.
Later, Sameer Baktoo, President of the Ecotourism Association of Kashmir, met the Lieutenant Governor and discussed issues related to sustainable tourism, conservation of the region’s natural heritage and fragile ecosystems, and promotion of no-polythene practices at hill stations across Kashmir.
