Srinagar: Police have attached an immovable property valued at approximately ₹10 lakh in the Khansahib area of Budgam district.
A police spokesperson informed that the action was taken in connection with FIR No. 92/2026, registered under Sections 8 and 20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at Police Station Khansahib.
The property, comprising a shop and car-washing facility, is associated with the accused Mohammad Rafiq Khan, resident of Arizal, who is alleged to be involved in drug peddling.
The property was attached under the relevant provisions of Section 68-F of the NDPS Act, following due legal procedure. The attachment is aimed at preventing the accused from dealing with or deriving benefit from assets allegedly connected with the illicit trafficking of narcotic substances, police said.
