Speaking on the occasion, Lone congratulated the entrepreneurs behind the venture and said such businesses contribute to local economic growth by creating employment opportunities while expanding hospitality services in the district.

The café offers a range of premium ice creams, artisan coffee and desserts. Designed with contemporary interiors and indoor seating, the outlet aims to cater to families, students, travellers and other visitors.

Several attendees welcomed the opening of the café, describing it as a positive addition to Baramulla’s growing hospitality sector.

Senior businessman Tariq Ahmad Manglo said the café’s ambience and presentation compared favourably with similar establishments in larger cities. Social activist and senior journalist Karamat Qayoom described it as a family-friendly destination offering a comfortable environment.

Among the early visitors, college student Adil Hussain said the café’s interiors, coffee and desserts had exceeded his expectations. Another customer, Mohammad Haris, said the opening of the outlet would provide local residents with an option that previously required travelling to Srinagar.

According to visitors, the café witnessed a steady footfall throughout its opening day, with many appreciating its ambience, service and menu. Located on the Srinagar-Uri Highway, the outlet is expected to cater to both local residents and travellers passing through Baramulla.
