Kupwara: The two-day My Youth My Pride Wushu and Kabaddi Championship concluded at the Indoor Stadium Handwara on Wednesday, with around 120 boys and girls participating in the competition.
Young athletes competed in Wushu and Kabaddi events over two days, with organisers reporting enthusiastic participation and competitive performances across both disciplines.
The closing ceremony was attended by Incharge, Indoor Stadium Handwara, Ajaz Hassan, who distributed medals and certificates to the winners and participants.
Addressing the participants, Hassan appreciated the efforts of the athletes, coaches, officials and organisers and encouraged the young sportspersons to continue training and participate in more competitions.
The championship was organised under the My Youth My Pride initiative, which aims to promote sports participation, fitness and youth engagement across the region, organisers said.
