Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday met BJP spokesperson and Convenor for International Affairs, J&K, Gaurav Gupta, and representatives of the Save Youth Save Future Foundation at the Raj Bhavan here.
According to an official statement, Gupta discussed issues relating to relief and restoration measures in flash flood and cloudburst-affected areas of the Union Territory. He also congratulated the Lieutenant Governor-led administration on the completion of the 100-day Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir campaign.
Later, Save Youth Save Future Foundation Chairman Wajahat Farooq Bhat called on the Lieutenant Governor, accompanied by the organisation’s Women’s Wing President Anika Nazir and Zonal President (South Kashmir) Mudasir Dar.
The foundation representatives appreciated the administration’s anti-drug campaign and briefed the Lieutenant Governor about their ongoing “Mulaqat – Interfaith Dialogue” initiative, which aims to promote peace, communal harmony and social cohesion across Kashmir, the statement said.
