The MP inspected several affected sites and directed the concerned officials to expedite the execution of development works. He also stressed the need to strengthen the drainage network to ensure proper stormwater disposal and prevent waterlogging during the monsoon.

Khatana said development works under the jurisdiction of the JMC would be expedited in coordination with the concerned departments and assured residents that their genuine grievances would be addressed.

The JMC Commissioner reiterated the corporation’s commitment to providing efficient civic services and instructed officials to monitor ongoing works, maintain quality standards and complete projects within the stipulated timeframe.

Yadav also appealed to residents to remove encroachments from drains and nallahs, saying such obstructions hinder the flow of stormwater and increase the risk of waterlogging during the monsoon. He further urged the public to conserve water and cooperate with the corporation in maintaining cleanliness and supporting developmental initiatives.

Several senior JMC officers, officials from allied departments, public representatives and local residents were present during the inspection.
