J&K BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma chaired a series of organisational meetings at the party headquarters, Convention Centre and Mishriwala to review arrangements for the visit.

The statement said Sharma reviewed venue management, reception arrangements, volunteer deployment, media coordination and public participation, and directed party functionaries to ensure smooth conduct of all programmes.

Sharma also met office-bearers of the BJP Minority Morcha, led by its president S. Ranjodh Singh Nalwa, who assured full cooperation for the visit.

A delegation of members of the Bihari community also met the BJP president and expressed a desire to felicitate Nabin during his visit, the statement said.

Describing the visit as an important organisational event, Sharma said it would further strengthen the party’s organisational base in Jammu and Kashmir and called upon party workers to ensure its successful conduct.
