The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of the Kashmiri Pandit community and other devotees, reflecting the enduring legacy of Bhagwan Gopinath Ji and his message of peace, devotion and self-realisation.

Subsequently, the Deputy Commissioner visited Gurdwara Shaheed Bunga at Barzulla Baghat and participated in religious observances marking the martyrdom day of Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the fifth Sikh Guru.

During the visit, he interacted with members of the Sikh community, the Gurdwara management and devotees, and highlighted the continuing relevance of Guru Arjan Dev Ji’s teachings of brotherhood, humility, social justice and communal harmony. He paid obeisance at the shrine and joined devotees in remembering the Guru’s message of peace, tolerance and selfless service.

Meanwhile, the district administration had made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the religious observance, including sanitation, drinking water supply, traffic regulation, parking management, fire safety measures and other essential services to facilitate devotees.

The two visits reflected the administration’s commitment to supporting religious and cultural events while promoting the values of communal harmony, mutual respect and inclusiveness.
