Jammu: The Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma visited the forward areas of the White Knight Corps on Wednesday to review the operational preparedness of troops and stressed the need to harness emerging technologies to refine tactics for effective mission accomplishment.

“Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, Army Commander northern command, visited forward areas of White Knight Corps to review operational preparedness”, Northern Command said on X.

During the visit, Lt Gen Sharma assessed the security situation and operational readiness of formations stationed along the forward areas.

Emphasising the evolving nature of operational challenges, he underscored the importance of leveraging emerging technologies and adapting tactics, techniques and procedures to ensure successful mission accomplishment.

During the visit, the Army commander inaugurated a state-of-the-art medical facility operationalised in the forward area.

He commended all ranks for their professionalism, high morale, and unwavering commitment towards the nation.

He also stressed the need for continuous innovation and technological integration to effectively address emerging threats and enhance operational effectiveness in a dynamic security environment.
