Grand Mufti, senior officials and surgeon call on LG

Srinagar: Grand Mufti of Jammu and Kashmir Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam, Registrar of Companies J&K Haamid Bukhari, Chairperson of the J&K Solace Employees Working Women Association (JKSEWWA) Dr. Abida War and senior joint replacement surgeon Dr. Vikas Padha separately called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday.

Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam met the Lieutenant Governor at Raj Bhawan and discussed issues concerning his field and areas of public interest.

In a separate meeting, Haamid Bukhari, Registrar of Companies, Jammu and Kashmir, also called on the Lieutenant Governor.

Dr. Abida War, Chairperson of JKSEWWA, met the Lieutenant Governor at Lok Bhavan and discussed issues related to her organisation and its activities.

The Lieutenant Governor also met Dr. Vikas Padha, Senior Joint Replacement Surgeon at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital.

During the interaction, Dr. Padha informed the Lieutenant Governor about the successful completion of 100 joint replacement surgeries on patients from the remote districts of Poonch and Rajouri under the Ayushman Bharat SEHAT Scheme.

The Lieutenant Governor congratulated Dr. Padha and his team for the achievement and appreciated their efforts in providing specialised healthcare services to patients from far-flung areas.

He also conveyed his best wishes to the medical team for their continued service towards improving healthcare access and patient care in the region.

The meetings were held separately and various issues pertaining to public welfare, healthcare and other matters of concern were discussed.
