Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations on Sunday conducted the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to B-Pharmacy and D-Pharmacy courses for the academic session 2026-27.
The examination was held simultaneously at the University of Kashmir in Kashmir and the Government College for Women Gandhi Nagar Jammu in Jammu, with 1,684 candidates from across Jammu and Kashmir appearing in the test.
According to BOPEE, adequate arrangements were put in place in coordination with the administrations of the host institutions and law enforcement agencies to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.
The arrangements were made under the guidance of Minu Mahajan.
Officials said the entrance test concluded peacefully without any untoward incident or use of unfair means and was conducted under the supervision of staff from the host institutions.
The Chairperson, along with BOPEE members, the Secretary, the Controller of Examinations and other officials, actively monitored the conduct of the examination at both Jammu and Srinagar centres.
The Board also expressed gratitude to the staff of the host institutions and personnel deployed under the overall supervision of the respective Deputy Commissioners for ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of the entrance test.
