Srinagar: Police in Anantnag have solved a theft case reported at Government Medical College, Dialgam and arrested two persons in this regard, a police spokesperson informed on Wednesday.
A police spokesperson informed that, while investigating a case of theft of a desktop computer, a high-end laptop, and other electronic accessories, bank transaction details of several suspects were obtained and thoroughly analysed. Based on the analysis, transactions of two persons were found suspicious, which led the investigating team towards the accused persons.
During sustained questioning, one suspect — Fahad Bilal of Bangdar Danter– confessed his involvement along with another accused, Aazan Bhat of Moominabad.
On the disclosure of the accused, police recovered all the stolen electronic items, including the desktop computer, high-end laptop, and other accessories, the spokesperson said.
