According to BOPEE, 1,263 candidates appeared in the examination out of a total of 1,538 applicants.

The test was conducted under the supervision of JKBOPEE chairperson Prof. Minu Mahajan.

Authorities said elaborate arrangements were made in coordination with the administrations of institutions and colleges as well as law enforcement agencies to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.

BOPEE said no untoward or unfair incident was reported from any examination centre.

For the second consecutive year, examination centres were also established in Baramulla, Anantnag, Doda, Rajouri and Leh to facilitate candidates from remote areas.

Officials said the move was aimed at ensuring easier access for students by allowing them to appear for the examination within their respective districts.

The BOPEE chairperson, members, secretary, controller of examinations and other officials monitored the conduct of the examination across Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

The JKBOPEE administration expressed gratitude to the staff of the institutions and colleges, as well as officials deployed under the supervision of deputy commissioners, for ensuring the smooth conduct of the test.
