SRINAGAR: Akshay Labroo, along with Sandeep Chakraborty, on Saturday morning visited Haj House Bemina, where the first batch of 431 Hajj pilgrims left in buses for Srinagar International Airport.
Among those present on the occasion were Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz, Fayaz Ahmad Dar, Irfan Bahadur, Shujaat Ahmad Qureshi, SP West Imtiyaz, the Chief Medical Officer Srinagar, senior officers of the civil and police administration, members of the Haj Committee and other concerned officials, who gathered to see off the pilgrims.
Interacting with the pilgrims, Akshay Labroo congratulated them and extended his best wishes for a safe and smooth journey.
The Deputy Commissioner and Sandeep Chakraborty, along with senior officers of various line departments, welcomed the pilgrims and wished them a safe, secure and seamless journey besides praying for their well-being throughout the sacred Haj.
