Srinagar: A three-day writing workshop aimed at nurturing creativity and enhancing writing skills among young people concluded at Komal Library on Saturday.
The workshop was organised by the Youth Empowerment Society in collaboration with Komal Library and brought together aspiring writers and young participants from across the region.
The sessions were conducted by noted journalists from Kashmir, including Idrees Bukhtiyar, Akeel Rashid and award-winning journalist Majid Maqbool.
The speakers shared practical insights into writing and journalism, offering guidance and inspiration to participants to improve their writing abilities and better understand the profession.
Participants described the workshop as an enriching and motivating experience and appreciated the efforts of YES and Komal Library in creating a platform for learning, creativity and self-expression.
President of YES, Tejveer Singh, said the organisation believes that empowering young minds through such initiatives is essential for building a thoughtful and expressive society.
