Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) on Saturday conducted the Common Entrance Test (CET) for 10th-based Diploma Paramedical Courses for the 2026-27 academic session.
The examination was held at designated centres across Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
According to officials, the test was conducted in Srinagar, Baramulla, Anantnag, Doda, Rajouri, Jammu and Leh.
Out of 1,591 applicants, 1,216 candidates appeared in the examination.
Officials said that for the second consecutive year, examination centres had been set up in Baramulla, Anantnag, Doda, Rajouri and Leh districts.
BOPEE said all necessary arrangements had been made in coordination with the administrations of the concerned institutions and colleges, as well as law enforcement agencies, to ensure smooth conduct of the examination.
The arrangements were made under the supervision of BOPEE Chairperson Prof. Minu Mahajan.
Officials said the examination passed off peacefully and no untoward incident or case of unfair means was reported from any centre.
The Chairperson, along with BOPEE members, the Secretary, Controller of Examinations and officials of the ARI and Trainings Department and BOPEE, monitored the examination process at centres in Srinagar, Jammu and Leh.
