The Panthers, who were put in to bat, struggled from the outset and never recovered after losing three wickets in the opening overs.

Their batting revolved around Atul, who scored a fighting 59 off 55 balls. He tried to steady the innings with some sensible batting, but found little support from the other end.

The Tigers bowlers kept up the pressure throughout the innings. Anchal Singh struck early, while Akash Choudhary and captain Jatin chipped in with important wickets to restrict the Panthers.

From 57 for 4, Jammu Panthers slipped further and were eventually bowled out for 99 in 19.5 overs.

In reply, Jammu Tigers came out aggressively and dominated the chase from the beginning.

Shaurya led the charge with an unbeaten 70 off 41 balls, an innings studded with eight boundaries and five sixes.

He was well supported by Akash Choudhary, who remained unbeaten on 30 off 20 balls.

The Panthers bowlers failed to make any impact as the Tigers raced to 105 without loss in 10.1 overs.

Shaurya’s aggressive knock ensured there was never any pressure on the chasing side and effectively turned the final into a one-sided contest.

With the victory, Jammu Tigers lifted the YSS-JKSC Cricket Premier League trophy after an emphatic performance in all departments of the game.

The Tigers impressed with disciplined bowling, sharp fielding and destructive batting, while the Panthers failed to recover from their poor start.

Shaurya was the standout performer of the final and played a key role in Jammu Tigers’ title triumph.
