During the meeting, a comprehensive assessment of the stock position and supply scenario was carried out. It was informed that adequate stocks of all essential fuels are available and supply remains normal across the district.

The DC emphasised the need for maintaining uninterrupted and hassle-free availability of fuel to the public.

He directed all stakeholders to ensure the timely replenishment of stocks at all fuel outlets and to avoid any disruption in supply.

The DC stressed on ensuring home delivery of LPG, so as to facilitate convenience to the public and prevent unnecessary rush at distribution points.

He further directed Tehsil and Sub-Division level monitoring committees to intensify market checks and keep strict vigil against any instances of hoarding, black marketing, or overcharging of any fuel.

The DC also issued strict instructions against unauthorised sale of fuel in loose containers and warned that any attempt to create an artificial shortage, indulge in profiteering, or spread rumours will invite strict action under law.

The Deputy Commissioner urged all stakeholders to work in close coordination to ensure transparency, accountability, and public convenience across the District.
