Srinagar: Police in Awantipora have arrested two drug peddlers from Reshipora, Awantipora.
A police spokesperson informed that Nazim Hamid, son of Abdul Hamid Mir of Kawani, and Faisal Ahmad Bhat, son of Gulzar Ahmad Bhat of Dogripora, were arrested at Reshipora-Panzgam Crossing after a search of their car (JK13J-0219) yielded 320 grams of cannabis-like substance wrapped in maize husk. Vehicle was also seized, and a case under relevant section of law has been registered at Police Station Awantipora for investigation.
