Razwan (Budgam), July 27: Madni Star Dardpora outclassed Syed Madni Sports Club Razwan by 3-1 in the final match of Syed Madni Volleyball Tournament-2018, here on Friday.
First two sets were completely dominated by Dardpora, although Razwan made comeback in the second set but could not continue to persist with its performance. The set scores were 25-23, 25-12, 21-25 and 25-22.
Amir of Dardpora, a setter,played a crucial role in leading his team to victory. In all the four rounds, he set the ball for the hitters of his team and blocked most of the smashes of rivals. While as Razwan had no setter.
Thousands of spectators were seen cheering for their favorite team. In the tournament, 16 teams from Budgam took part.
Earlier, during the opening ceremony of final, Kashmir’s famous comedian Bashir Kotur and his colleagues Nazir Ahmad and Ali Mohammad performed a comedy show.
