Dy CM, Minister Javed Rana extend Shab-e-Qadr greetings

JAMMU: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary and Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs Javed Ahmed Rana on Monday extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Qadr.

In his message, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the holy night of Shab-e-Qadr holds immense religious and spiritual significance for the Muslim community as it is a time for deep devotion, reflection and prayers. He said that on this sacred night, people seek divine blessings and pray for peace, prosperity and well-being of all.

Choudhary also expressed hope that the occasion would further strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and inspire people to work collectively for peace, harmony and progress in the region. He added that Jammu and Kashmir has long been a shining example of communal harmony, where people participate in each other’s festivals with mutual respect and a shared sense of unity.

Minister Javed Ahmed Rana, in his message, described Shab-e-Qadr as the most sacred night of the holy month of Ramadhan and said it offers believers an opportunity to seek the mercy and blessings of Almighty Allah through prayers, reflection and acts of charity.

He urged people to spend the blessed night in devotion and to pray for lasting peace, prosperity and well-being of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and the entire nation.

Rana also appealed to the people to remember the poor and underprivileged in their prayers and extend support to those in need so that the spirit of Ramadhan reaches every household.
