SRINAGAR: Advisor to the Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani today met several delegations and individuals at the Chief Minister’s Public Outreach Office, Raabita, and listened to the issues and demands raised by them.
A delegation of the J&K Graduate Engineers Association called on the Advisor and apprised him of various issues concerning graduate engineers. The delegation sought consideration of their professional demands.
Another delegation of parents of students studying in Iran met with the Advisor and expressed concern about the safety and evacuation of their wards amid the prevailing situation in the region. The Advisor assured the delegation that the government is closely monitoring the situation and will take the necessary steps to facilitate the safe evacuation of the students.
A delegation from the Private Schools Association also met with the Advisor and raised concerns about the functioning of private educational institutions.
Several individuals from different areas also met with Advisor Wani and brought to his attention issues related to development work and other local matters in their respective areas.
The Advisor heard all delegations and individuals and assured them that their genuine concerns would be examined and addressed with the relevant departments for appropriate action.
