MLA Gulmarg holds review, planning meeting at Town Hall Kunzer

Tangmarg: MLA Gulmarg Farooq Ahmad Shah held a meeting with officers and members of the public from Kunzer, Hardu Aboora, Lalpora and Wailoo blocks at Town Hall Kunzer to review the development works completed during the previous year and to plan for the coming year.

During the meeting, officers from various departments presented reports on the progress of different development projects undertaken in the area. The discussions mainly focused on the status of works related to roads, water supply, electricity and other basic public facilities.

People from different villages also attended the meeting and shared their views and suggestions regarding the development needs of their respective areas. They highlighted several local issues and requested that priority be given to important works in the upcoming development plans

Speaking on the occasion, Farooq Ahmad Shah directed the officers to prepare next year’s development plans in consultation with local communities so that the needs and priorities of the people are properly addressed. He emphasised that involving people in the planning process would help strengthen governance at the grassroots level.

The MLA also urged the officers to ensure proper coordination among departments for the effective implementation of development projects. He assured the public that he will continue to work for the welfare and development of the entire Gulmarg constituency.

Officials from several departments were present in the meeting and briefed the MLA about the progress of works completed during the previous year and the proposals for future development in the area.
