It was an early morning departure from home, when the world was still wrapped in silence and sleep. The rain was falling steadily, its gentle rhythm echoing through the quiet streets. The air carried a soothing freshness, as if nature itself was in a state of prayer.

Leaving the warmth of the bed with half-sleeping eyes was not easy, yet there was something special about the moment. The vehicle board outside was surprisingly neat and clean, moving swiftly through the rain-washed roads. Inside, the calmness was almost sacred. The soft hum of the engine blended with the sound of raindrops touching the windshield.

Soon, another sound filled the space, the beautiful recitation of the Qur’an playing through the vehicle’s sound system. Each verse carried a serenity that settled deeply into the heart. It was the 22nd day of the blessed month of Ramadan, a time when souls naturally incline toward reflection and devotion. The rain outside and the divine words inside created a harmony that felt almost heavenly.

The road then climbed towards the hilly slope of Sangri Hill Top. As the journey continued, the driver respectfully stopped near the sacred shrine of Baba Shukur ud Din (RA) Shrine. With humility, he placed a small nazrana into the ziyarat box before continuing the ride. That simple act of faith added another layer of spiritual warmth to the journey.

As the vehicle reached the summit and began its smooth descent, the view around seemed washed in calm rain and mist. The wipers moved rhythmically across the front mirror, clearing the rain droplets again and again, like a quiet meditation in motion.

Inside the vehicle, the recitation slowly came to an end, and soon the melodious praises of Naats filled the air. Their spiritual beauty carried the heart even deeper into tranquility. The rain continued to fall softly, the road stretched peacefully ahead, and the mind felt refreshed in a way that words often fail to explain.

It was a rare combination-the rain, the sacred recitation, the calm driver, the quiet road, and the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan. Everything seemed perfectly aligned in time and feeling.

For a moment, life itself felt simple and smooth. And somewhere deep inside the heart, a gentle wish emerged:

If only life could always move this smoothly… like a peaceful journey through rain, guided by faith, calmness, and the quiet remembrance of the Divine.

Barish bhi thi, zikr bhi tha, raaste bhi the pur-sukoon,

Us subah safar kya tha, jaise hardum rehmat ka junoon.
