Apni Party leaders visit Farooq Abdullah, enquire about his well-being

Jammu: A delegation of the Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party on Friday visited former Member of Parliament and former Chief Minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah to enquire about his well-being following the recent firing incident at a marriage function in the Greater Kailash area of Jammu.

The delegation was led by Apni Party Provincial President and former minister Sardar Manjit Singh and included senior party leaders Majeed Paddar (Chief Coordinator and former minister), Abhay Bakaya (District President Jammu Urban), Bodhraj Bhagat (senior leader) and Yash Chowdhary (District Organising Secretary Jammu Urban).

During the visit, the leaders expressed relief that Dr. Abdullah remained unharmed in the incident and wished him good health and safety.

They also condemned the firing incident and stressed the need for a thorough investigation to ensure that such incidents do not recur.
