  DC Pulwama reviews arrangements for JKSSB Wildlife Guard Examination

PULWAMA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pulwama, Dr Basharat Qayoom, today chaired a comprehensive meeting at Circuit House Pulwama to review the arrangements put in place for the smooth and successful conduct of the JKSSB Wildlife Guard Examination scheduled to be held on March 08, 2026.

At the outset, Additional Deputy Commissioner Pulwama (Chief Inspector, JKSSB Examinations) briefed the chair about the preparedness and arrangements finalized for the examination. It was informed that the deployment of Centre Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents, Invigilators and Videographers has been completed.

The meeting was further apprised about the deployment of Magistrates and Observers, besides the arrangements related to transportation, security, surveillance mechanisms and other logistical support to ensure fair and transparent conduct of the examination.

The DC reviewed the arrangements and interacted with the concerned officers, particularly Centre Superintendents, directing them to strictly adhere to the prescribed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). He stressed upon maintaining transparency, confidentiality and discipline during the conduct of the examination.

Emphasizing the importance of inter-departmental coordination, the DC called for a collaborative effort among all concerned departments to create a conducive environment for the appearing candidates.

Earlier in the day, a comprehensive training programme was organized at Government Degree College for Boys, Pulwama for Centre Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents, Invigilators and Clerical Staff. The training focused on strict adherence to SOPs, frisking procedures, handling of examination material and ensuring smooth and transparent conduct of the examination.
