DC Kulgam visits Qaimoh area; reviews key development projects, functioning of Tehsil Office

KULGAM: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Shahzad Alam, today visited the Qaimoh area to take stock of various ongoing development projects and review the functioning of the Tehsil Office.

During the visit, the DC inspected the construction of the Sub-District Hospital building at Qaimoh.

He was informed that the work on the project is nearing completion.

The DC directed the concerned authorities to expedite the remaining finishing works and ensure completion within a month.

He also inspected the under-construction 1x 33 Mtr Span Girder Kawaki Bazar Bridge, where he reviewed the progress of work and instructed the executing agency to maintain the pace of construction and adhere strictly to the stipulated timeline.

Later, at the Tehsil Office Qaimoh, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the functioning of the revenue administration. He inspected mutation registers and Jamabandi records to assess the efficiency and transparency of revenue services.

The DC also took stock of the verification and freezing process of 5 Jamabandis. He further reviewed the delivery of services under Revenue Plus and the issuance of certificates through Jan-Sugam.

Emphasizing transparency, accountability, and efficiency in public service delivery, the DC directed officials to ensure the timely disposal of pending cases and the seamless provision of services to the public.

During the visit, the DC was accompanied by ACR, Riyaz Ahmad Shah; Executive Engineer, Shabir Ahmad Tak; CMO, Tehsildar Qaimoh and other officers.
