Deputy CM inspects Dhallian Bridge at Nowshera

Pays obeisance at Gurudwara on Hola Mohalla

RAJOURI: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary today inspected the progress on the 90-meter span Dhallian Bridge being constructed over the Tawi River at Nowshera and Rata Galla Bridge at Kalsian.

He called for expediting the pace of work to ensure the timely completion and operationalisation of these vital projects.

During the visit, the Deputy Chief Minister reviewed the status of construction works and interacted with the concerned officers and engineers executing the project under the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development-funded scheme. He stressed that the bridge is a vital connectivity project for the area and directed the executing agency to maintain the quality standards while accelerating the pace of work.

Later, on the auspicious occasion of Hola Mohalla, the Deputy Chief Minister paid obeisance at Gurudwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha. He offered prayers and sought blessings for peace, harmony and prosperity of the people.

On the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the festival of Hola Mohalla symbolises courage, devotion and the spirit of selfless service. He prayed that the values and teachings associated with the festival continue to inspire the society towards unity, harmony and collective progress.

Executive Engineer PWD Nowshera Sarwar Mehmood, Executive Engineer PMGSY Shahid Choudhary, District Mineral Officer Rajouri Mohammad Shafiq, besides other district and sectoral officers, accompanied the Deputy Chief Minister during the visit.
