Srinagar: Dr. Tasaduk Hussain Itoo, a noted doctor from Jammu and Kashmir, medical writer and public health fellow, has been honoured with the Certificate of Excellence by the World Book of Records (WBR), London in recognition of his contributions to healthcare delivery, health education and community empowerment.
The prestigious recognition acknowledges Dr. Itoo’s sustained efforts in advancing public health initiatives, promoting preventive medicine and contributing to global health through active engagement with various international professional bodies.
Dr. Itoo has earned several prominent international distinctions over the years. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health (FRSPH), UK, Fellow of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF Fellow), Belgium, and an International Practitioner of the Faculty of Public Health (IPFPH), UK.
He is also a Member of the Academy of Medical Educators (MAcadMEd), UK, Member of the Royal Society of Biology (MRSB), UK, and a member of the American College of Physicians (ACP), USA. Additionally, he serves as an Academic Life Member of the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI).
Expressing gratitude after receiving the honour, Dr. Itoo said the recognition would motivate him to further strengthen his efforts in patient care, medical education and the advancement of public health.
The international recognition marks another milestone in Dr. Itoo’s professional journey and reflects the growing global acknowledgment of healthcare leadership emerging from Jammu and Kashmir.
