GANDERBAL: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore, today chaired a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) to review and approve cases under Mission Yuva in the district.
During the meeting, the committee deliberated in detail on the applications received. After thorough scrutiny, a total of 224 cases, including 223 Nano cases and 01 MSME case, were approved to enable aspiring entrepreneurs to establish and expand their ventures across diverse sectors.
Addressing the meeting, the DC stressed the importance of timely processing and disposal of cases to ensure that eligible youth receive financial assistance without delay.
He directed the concerned officers and banking institutions to expedite sanction and disbursement of cases so that the beneficiaries can commence their activities at the earliest.
The DC further instructed the Lead District Manager and other officers to maintain close coordination and ensure that all formalities are completed in a time-bound manner.
Reiterating the administration’s commitment to youth empowerment, the DC urged officers to provide handholding support to beneficiaries, including guidance on project formulation, market linkage and follow-up support to ensure the sustainability of the units established under Mission Yuva.
