DC Anantnag chairs introductory meeting with officers

ANANTNAG: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr Bilal Mohiud Din Bhat, chaired the introductory meeting with all district and sectoral heads and other officers today at Khanabal.

At the outset, the officers briefed the chair about the workings of their respective departments.

Addressing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner said that public welfare is the utmost priority of the district administration and stressed upon the officers to work with commitment and dedication to take the district to newer heights of progress and development. He noted that proper teamwork and coordination are necessary for the effective implementation of all government schemes, welfare initiatives and development projects.

Expressing confidence in the abilities of officers, Dr. Bhat observed that enhancing access to offices and outreach activities help the departments to receive public feedback, ultimately leading to better public service delivery.

At the conclusion, the DC advised the officers to properly monitor the functioning of their respective departments so the subordinate offices work in sync and alignment with the district goals of public welfare and overall development.

The meeting was attended by Principal GMC Anantnag, ADCs, GM DIC, DPO, SEs Jal Shakti, PWD and KPDCL, Registrar Anantnag, ACR, ACD, SDMs, Principals of Degree Colleges, CPO, CMO, CEO, DFOs, CAO, CAHO, DyDEO, DTO, DFO, Exens of various engineering departments, Deputy Director Fisheries, ARTO, DMO, Tehsildars, DSHO, DSWO, AD FCS&CA, DEPO, DYSSO, BDOs, AD Tourism, Wildlife Warden, AD Handloom & Handicrafts, LMO, DRC, CEO MCA, BDOs, EOs MCs, AD F&E, AD LDM, representatives of various programmes and projects and other officers of the district.
