A wreath-laying ceremony was held at the memorial, where officers, dignitaries and jawans paid floral tributes to the personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty. The Ceremonial Guard presented a salute, while a minute’s silence, accompanied by the sounding of the bugle, was observed as a mark of respect to the martyrs.
The gathering remembered the sacrifice of the slain personnel and expressed gratitude for their service to the nation.
As part of the commemoration, the CRPF also organised a blood donation camp, a tradition observed annually in honour of the martyrs. The camp witnessed participation from officers and jawans, who collectively donated more than 100 units of blood to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar.
