Srinagar: Ghulam Rasool Ahanger, a resident of Sheeraz Colony, Soura (originally from Goni Khun, Amirakadal), passed away at his residence on Wednesday afternoon. He was laid to rest later in the evening.
He is survived by his son, Raouf Rasool, Executive Editor of Kashmir Images and daughter. The staff and management of the organisation have expressed deep condolences and stand in solidarity with the bereaved, particularly Raouf Rasool, in this hour of grief.
The Rasm-e-Chaharum and Ijtima-i-Fateh Khwani will be held at the ancestral graveyard at Malla Teng, Dalgate, on Saturday, February 14, at around 10:00 AM.
