E- Bus service operates within SMR limits: Satish Sharma

JAMMU: Minister for Transport, Satish Sharma, said that as per the operational guidelines of the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs (MoHUA), e-bus service is being operated within the Srinagar Metropolitan Region (SMR) limits.

The Minister said this while replying to a question raised by Rafiq Ahmad Naik.

He informed the house that the Tral constituency falls out of SMR limits.

While replying to a supplementary, the Minister said that consideration would be given to include Tral in the network, once new fleet of buses is received by the department.
