Jammu: Er. Abdul Ghani Kohli, former minister and senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), called on Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, at the Raj Bhavan here today.
In a separate meeting, Shabir Ahmad Kullay, Member of the Legislative Assembly from Shopian, also met the Lieutenant Governor and discussed issues related to his constituency.
Meanwhile, representatives of the J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association also called on the Lieutenant Governor and projected various issues concerning the promotion and development of sports, particularly kabaddi, in the Union Territory.
The Lieutenant Governor gave a patient hearing to the delegations and assured them that their concerns and suggestions would be examined for appropriate action.
