Delegations, political leaders call on LG

JAMMU: Several political leaders, public representatives, and delegations called on Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, here on Friday.

Former MLC and senior BJP leader Vibodh Gupta, along with senior BJP leader Munish Sharma, met the Lieutenant Governor and discussed issues of public importance.

Chairman, District Development Council Srinagar, Aftab Malik, also called on the Lieutenant Governor.

On the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor was presented with a book titled “The Battle of Hill Kaka” authored by M S Nazki.

Earlier, a public delegation led by Javid Ahmad Mirchal, Member of Legislative Assembly from Karnah, met the Lieutenant Governor and projected various development-related issues of the constituency.

Subsequently, delegations from the All J&K Christian Sabha, Kanak Mandi Traders Association, and the Patnitop Hotel and Restaurant Association also called on the Lieutenant Governor and apprised him of issues concerning their respective sectors.

Meanwhile, Baldev Raj Sharma, Member of Legislative Assembly from Mata Vaishno Devi Constituency, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. Representatives of Mata Bhaderkali Asthapan Trust Thalwal, led by its President Dileep ji Pandita, also called on the Lieutenant Governor.
