SRINAGAR: Police in Srinagar have sought the assistance of the general public to help identify an unidentified male body recovered following a road accident.
According to police, information was received from reliable sources that a road accident had occurred during the intervening night of January 25 and 26, 2026, at Tangan Crossing near Sitara Marbal. Acting promptly on the information, a police team from Police Station Nowgam was deputed to the spot, where the body of an unidentified male was recovered.
In this connection, a case has been registered vide FIR No. 14/2026 under relevant sections of law at Police Station Nowgam, and further investigation has been taken up.
