Srinagar: Police have arrested two drug peddlers along with a huge quantity of contraband substance in Pulwama.
At Tengpona road, police intercepted and later arrested Tanveer Ahmad Wagay, son of Bashir Ahmad Wagay of Kandajan Budgam, and Mohammad Maqbool Shah, son of Mohammad Abdullah Shah of Washbugh, Pulwama, after 20.675 kilograms of cannabis (‘Choora’)-like substance was recovered from their possession, a police spokesperson informed.
He said a case under the relevant sections of law has been registered for further investigation.
