Several IAS, IPS officers shifted out of J&K, others posted in J&K under AGMUT reshuffle

Srinagar: The Ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday shifted several IAS and IPS officers under the AGMUT cadre from the Jammu & Kashmir, including Santosh D. Vaidya and Syed Abid Rashid Shah, to other States and Union Territories in the joint cadre.

According to an order, Santosh D. Vaidya (Principal Secretary, Finance) has been transferred to Delhi.

Niraj Kumar (Administrative Secretary, Public Grievance Department) has also been transferred to Delhi.

Syed Abid Rashid Shah (Secretary, Health & Medical Education Department) has been transferred to Chandigarh.

Saloni Rai (Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur) has been transferred to Delhi.

Baseer Ul Haq Chaudhary (Mission Director, NHM) has been transferred to Ladakh.

The order also details officers who have now been posted to Jammu and Kashmir. These include Ashwani Kumar (IAS, 1992 batch), transferred from Delhi to Jammu and Kashmir, R Alice Vaz (IAS, 2005 batch), moved from Delhi to Jammu and Kashmir, Anjali Sehrawat (IAS, 2013 batch), shifted from Delhi to Jammu and Kashmir, Sagar D Dattatray (IAS, 2014 batch), transferred from DNH and DD to Jammu and Kashmir, Akriti Sagar (IAS, 2016 batch), posted from Arunachal Pradesh to Jammu and Kashmir, and Kumar Abhishek (IAS, 2016 batch), transferred from Delhi to Jammu and Kashmir.

Rajinder Kumar Gupta (IPS), and Shobhit D Saksena (IPS) too have been shifted from J&K.

At the same time, the Centre has posted several officers to Jammu and Kashmir, bringing in fresh administrative leadership to the Union Territory. Those transferred to Jammu and Kashmir include Ashwani Kumar (IAS) from Delhi, R Alice Vaz (IAS) from Delhi, Anjali Sehrawat (IAS) from Delhi, Sagar D Dattatray (IAS) from DNH&DD, Akriti Sagar (IAS) from Arunachal Pradesh, Kumar Abhishek (IAS) from Delhi, Sudhanshu Dhama (IPS) from Arunachal Pradesh, Sunny Gupta (IPS) from Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and Prashant Priya Gautam (IPS) from Delhi.
