Srinagar: Police in Budgam have arrested two drug peddlers and recovered contraband substances from their possession.
A police spokesperson said that Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, son of Ghulam Qadir Bhat of Ompora, and Amir Ahmad Gojri, son of Ghulam Mohammad Gojri of Mohanpora, Budgam, were arrested near the Railway Crossing in Kanipora after a charas-like substance weighing approximately 47.38 grams was recovered from their possession. One mobile phone was also seized.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at the Police Station Budgam for investigation.
