Srinagar: Police in Shopian recovered a “significant quantity” of contraband substance from a residential house in Safanagri Zainapora and arrested the accused person.
A police spokesperson said that, acting on specific information, cops from Police Station Zainapora accompanied by the Executive Magistrate, raided the house of Farooq Ahmad Dar of Safanagri Zainapora. During the search, 7.9 kgs of cannabis-like substance was seized and Dar was also arrested. Further investigation has been initiated.
