KPDCL schedules power cuts in several areas

SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a series of scheduled power shutdowns across multiple areas of the Valley in the coming days to facilitate essential maintenance works on various 33 KV transmission lines.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, shutdown of 33 KV Shariefabad-Narbal line will be observed due to which power supply to Narbal, Kawoosa, Mazhama, Sozeith, Sanoor, Lawaypora, Malpora, Radbugh, Railway Station Mazhama and adjoining areas will be affected from 09.30 AM to 03.30 PM on 06 December 2025.

Similarly, shutdown of K-Koot tap of Sangam-II line will be observed due to which power supply to Siamoh, K-Koot, Kaiagam, Hariparigam, LIS Tral and adjoining areas will be affected from 10.30 PM to 03.30 PM on 30 NOVEMBER 2025.

Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Pampore-SIDCO line and 33 KV Pampore line will be observed due to which power supply to IE Khrew, Cement Plants, Pampore, Khadermoh, Zewan, Tengan, EDI and adjoining areas will be affected from 09.30 AM to 03.30 PM on 30 November 2025.

Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Tral-I line from Noorpora tap will be observed due to which power supply to Tral, Divar, Pinglish, Dadasara, Chandrigam, Mandoora, Kahlil, Bajwani and adjoining areas will be affected from 09.30 AM to 03.30 PM on 04 December 2025.

Furthermore, shutdown of 33 KV Tapline of Tral-I line from Nowdal will be observed due to which power supply to Trali Payeen, Pinglish, Divar, Chewa, Tral Bala, Kahlil, Bajwani and adjoining areas will be affected from 09.30 AM to 03.30 PM on 08 &11 December 2025.

Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Seelu Tap line will be observed due to which power supply to Seelu, Bomai, Brath, Shangergund and adjoining areas will be affected from 09.30 AM to 03.30 PM on 29 November 2025.
