BARAMULLA: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, today chaired a meeting of the District Level Screening-cum-Coordination Committee (DLSCC) at the meeting hall of the DC Office to review pending compassionate appointment cases of terror-affected families.
The DC took a detailed review of all applications presented by the concerned departments and stressed that cases related to terror-affected families must be processed with transparency, sensitivity, and strict adherence to the notified guidelines.
During the meeting, the committee examined 20 cases. After thorough scrutiny, 14 cases were approved, 4 cases were rejected for not fulfilling the required criteria, while 2 cases were referred for re-verification to validate essential documents.
The DC directed the officers to ensure that all genuine cases are resolved promptly and families receive timely support through the compassionate appointment mechanism.
Senior officers from Civil, Police, Army, BSF and other concerned officers participated in the meeting.
