During the interactions, Showkat Ahmad Mir reiterated that the Omar Abdullah-led elected government is fully committed to ensuring that all essential utility services are restored and strengthened across Jammu & Kashmir. He said that the government is working tirelessly to deliver uninterrupted power, better road connectivity, improved water supply systems, and enhanced public infrastructure, particularly in areas that have long awaited attention.
Mir further stressed that the administration under Omar Abdullah is systematically undoing the developmental setbacks of the previous decade, which had stalled progress and left many vital projects incomplete. He stated that renewed focus has been placed on accelerating ongoing works, reviving abandoned projects, and ensuring transparent and accountable governance so that people can tangibly experience improvement in their day-to-day lives.
He assured the delegations that their concerns will be taken up with the relevant authorities and reaffirmed the National Conference’s commitment to serving the people with sincerity and dedication.
