JAMMU: Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo, has expressed profound grief over the demise of two distinguished individuals — former Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir, Ashok Kumar, and Shri Madan Lal Gupta, father of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF), J&K, Shri Suresh Kumar Gupta.
While condoling the passing of Ashok Kumar, who served as Chief Secretary from 17th October 1994 to 9th October 1996, Dulloo remembered him as an able administrator and a distinguished civil servant known for his integrity, commitment, and administrative excellence. He said that Kumar’s dedicated service and contribution to public administration in Jammu and Kashmir would be remembered with admiration and gratitude.
In his message on the demise of Madan Lal Gupta, Dulloo, on behalf of the entire Jammu and Kashmir administration, extended heartfelt sympathies to Shri Suresh Kumar Gupta and his family.
Expressing solidarity with both bereaved families in their hour of grief, the Chief Secretary prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls and courage to the families to bear these irreparable losses with strength and fortitude.
