Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee has expressed deep concern over the road accident near Thandikassi in Rajouri today morning injuring over 26 persons, majority school children, some of them seriously.
Seeking all possible medical help including specialised treatment at government expense to all injured, JKPCC has expressed sympathies with the injured and their families and prayed for early recovery of the injured.
The Congress party asked the administration to hold an independent & fair investigation into the reasons behind the accident and take strict action against the culprits, including the delinquent officers and officials responsible for regulating and streamlining the traffic system in the district.
The authorities should look into all those reasons leading to frequent road accidents and take all necessary steps to check such incidents and loss of precious lives on roads, JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma said.
