Grand finale of Police Volleyball tournament held at Baramulla

Kreeri: The Grand Finale of the Police Volleyball Tournament (Sub-Division Kreeri) was played today between Syed Rumi Volleyball Club, Shrakwara and Sarkar Volleyball Club, Nowgam Kandi. In an intense and thrilling match, Syed Rumi Volleyball Club, Shrakwara emerged as the champions of the tournament.

The event was graced by SSP Baramulla Gurinderpal Singh, IPS, as the Chief Guest. SDPO Kreeri Javid Ahmad, Prob. DySP Akash Kapoor, SHO PS Kreeri, SHO PS Chandoosa, In-charge PP Wagoora, Tehsildar Kreeri, and several officers from the civil administration were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, SSP Baramulla congratulated the winners and lauded all participating teams for their sportsmanship and enthusiasm. He emphasized the role of sports in youth development, stating, “Sports instill unity, discipline, and purpose among youth, helping them build a stronger and more focused society.”

The event concluded amid great applause, with appreciation for the organizing committee and a reaffirmation of J&K Police’s commitment to promoting sports, discipline, and community engagement among the youth.
