Srinagar: Police in Ganderbal Thursday said it has apprehended two fugitives who had been evading arrest for the past 13 years.
A police spokesperson said that the duo was traced and arrested in Bangalore and Maharashtra. The arrested persons were identified as Mudasir Ahmad War, son of Nazir Ahmad War of Batpora Sopore, and Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, son of Ali Mohammad Wani of Lolpora Kunzar Tangmarg.
The duo was wanted in connection with FIR No. 34/2013 under section 392, 511, 34 RPC and FIR No. 17/2013 under section 366, 109 RPC, police said.
