In statement issued here, JKLF chairman termed the demise of Zaffar Ahmad Shah’s sister as a personal loss and said that her absence will always be remembered.

“JKLF chairman along with senior leaders Ghulam Rasool Dar Eidi, Noor Muhammad Kalwal and Mustaq Ajmal visited the bereaved family and expressed solidarity with them,” reads the JKLF statement.

“A condolence meeting was held at JKLF office in Srinagar during which the demise of Noor khan of Uri, who breathed his last at Kotbalwal Jail Jammu where he was lodged despite many ailments, was widely mourned by the participants,” the statement added.

“The demise of Noor Khan in jail has added to the crimes of Indian occupation, which has no respect for human rights and rights of the prisoners,” the JKLF statement quoted Malik as saying.
