KVIB Anantnag organizes awareness camp under NSSH scheme

ANANTNAG, JULY 18:  Jammu and Kashmir Khadi & Village Industries Board (KVIB) Anantnag today organized an awareness camp under National Schedule Caste Schedule Tribe Hub (NSSH) scheme at town hall Achabal.

The camp was organized for prospective targeted beneficiaries, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise (MSME) SC/ST unitholders and other unemployed youth.

On the occasion, the experts from KVIB, District Industries Centre (DIC) Anantnag, various Banks and JKEDI informed the participants regarding the various kinds of loans, schemes and programmes for their economic well-being.

The participants were given awareness about availing the benefits of NSSH scheme and other such centrally-sponsored schemes. The experts provided them with expertise regarding how to strengthen their already established units and how to make them sustainable and more profitable.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Chief Executive Officer KVIB Kashmir Muzaffar Nasir Allaqaband said that KVIB is very keen in providing all possible assistance to the SCs/ STs and other unemployed youth of the state in establishing their own business generating units.

Among others present on the occasion include Manager Lead Bank Anantnag, BDO Handicrafts and representatives from District Industries Centre Anantnag, SC/ST Corporation, and JKEDI.
